SMALL STAR is a unique art house start-up in the age of the smartphone– an intimate arts space with artistic and thought-provoking films alongside an art space representing more than 60 local artists. We let you experience great films as special events in the community with other similarly curious art fans.

We present the feature-length independent, documentary, and foreign films at their release dates. They are important, cutting-edge award winners that have earned significant critical acclaim. No waiting.

We use a professional digital projector on a cinema screen with a surround sound system, for an immersive theater experience. The theater is an eclectic design with 26 disparate seating options, creating an intimate and comfortable experience.

Located in the WeCo neighborhood of York (2) blocks west of the square on West Market Street, our screenings include casual meet and greet socials with beverages, locally made snacks, and art browsing in our gallery before the films.
